Curative Centers

We have adopted and practice curative education in our curative centres. Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Anthroposophy, initiated Curative Education (please provide link) in the year 1924. It was further developed by Dr Karl Konig, who started the Camphill movement.

It is an individualistic and holistic approach to teach children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The key goals of this education system are to help the students to develop good socialization and awareness of self while aiming to reach their full potential.

What we do for our students?

  2. Art in the form of wet-on-wet painting
  3. Nurturing plants in gardening activity
  4. Eurythmy (visible speech through rhythmic movement, Copper rod exercises)
  5. Rhythmic massages, Foot bath & Compress.
  6. Class play (students’ participation in enacting class lessons)
  7. Diet & Rhythm
  8. Field trips
  9. Pet therapy
  10. Pottery & Carpentry
  11. Physical fitness

  1. Individual Counselling/Group Counseling
  2. Home visits
  3. Biography work
  4. Management of children at home (Home therapy)
